Basic Wildland Firefighting

This course satisfies the Texas Commission on Fire Protection curriculum and skills requirements for Basic Wildland Fire Fighter. Topics includes competencies and skills in the TCFP Curriculum Manual, Chapter 11 Wildland Fire Fighter. Students successfully completing the course will be eligible to take the TCFP Certification  Exam for Basic Wildland Fire Fighters. Students who also sign up in TFS Acadis system, will be eligIble for NWCG S130 & S 190 certificates. Testing and certification fees are the responsibility of the student.
