Students will study blueprints for mechanical trades. Topics will include identifying the elements of drawings and interpreting the dimensions, tolerances, and geometric aspects of blueprints. Introduction to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols and their meanings, fraction and decimal manipulation, measurements, percentages, and problem-solving techniques for equations and ratio/proportions and common math needed for industrial maintenance.
