This course is a continuation of the SFFMA FF 1 certificate and satisfies the curriculum and certification standards for the State Firefighters and Fire Marshals Association (SFFMA) Hazardous Materials Operations. Topics include curriculum and competencies as set forth in the SFFMA Curriculum Manual for Hazardous Materials, NFPA Standard 472, & NFPA Standard 1072. Students successfully completing the course will be eligible to test for the SFFMA HazMat Operations Certification Examination, provided they satisfy SFFMA testing requirements. Prerequisite: Student must be sponsored by a Fire Department and students must enroll in FIRS 1001, FIRS 1007, FPTA 1029, & FPTA 1041.
