Two Trips In A Day: From Medieval Times to 1800's Texas

Travel to Newman’s Castle in Bellville, TX for a morning of castle exploration! See the moat, working drawbridge, portcullis, five turrets, courtyard, chapel, and central keep with dramatic views of the surrounding lands. In the afternoon, visit San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site, where Stephen F. Austin established his 1823 colony headquarters—the social, economic, and political hub of early Texas settlement. Lunch is included for a full day of history, exploration, and adventure!

Trip times are estimated and subject to change. Final trip details will be emailed the week prior to the trip.

Trip cost includes transportation and the admission ticket. Trip tickets have been pre-purchased; therefore, they are non-refundable.  Students will meet in the Lifelong Learning Center lobby to board the bus unless otherwise noted.
