Fire Instructor II

FIRE INSTRUCTOR II - 48 HRS Suggested Prerequisite: FIRT 2005/2305/2405: Fire Instructor I Course Level: Intermediate Development of individual lesson plans for a specific topic including learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments. Includes techniques for supervision and coordination of activities of other instructors to meet Texas Commission on Fire Protection requirements for Fire Instructor II certification. This course satisfies the curriculum requirements for Fire Instructor I as established by the Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP). Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to take the TCFP Certification Examination of Fire Instructor I providing they meet all TCFP requirements for certification. This course satisfies the Job Performance Requirements (JPRs) of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) NFPA 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapter 8 Fire Instructor.
