If you have experience with glass cutting and now want to learn the lead came method of stained glass, then this class is for you! Lead came is the material that holds separate pieces of glass together in an h-shaped channel so that the pieces of glass slide into either side. The cames are then soldered together at the seams to lend strength to the piece of art. This is the method used when creating large works of glass art, like windows. As the semester progresses, you will have the opportunity to assemble your own panel.
