Learn how to catch fish and discover tricks that will build your confidence to fish anywhere. We will cover the proper tackle and bait to use for different saltwater environments as well as techniques for casting, fighting, landing, and cleaning fish. Learn how to maintain your fishing gear, plus the rules and regulations of fishing in Texas. Fishing field trips to Galveston and the Texas City Dike for additional fees (trips will be during class time, but you can stay longer if you choose). Course prerequisite: Valid Texas saltwater fishing license.
