This course will cover the pre-clinical chairside assisting procedures, instrumentation, OSHA and other regulatory agencies standards. Students will select armamentarium for introductory dental skills, implement infection and hazard control protocol, practice equipment safety, perform equipment maintenance, and demonstrate specific pre-clinical chairside assisting procedures.

Please read:  Students must concurrently enroll in CID:1326 DNTA-1003-221HY and CID:1327 DNTA-1060-121CL. Tuition includes malpractice insurance fee ($16). Training includes CPR training, and lab experience. The lab experiences take place on 4 Saturdays from 09:00AM-12:00PM offsite. (4) Offsite Labs are tentatively scheduled for: 09/09, 09/23, 10/07, and 10/21.
